Static QR code

Static means fixed. The content is written into the code itself. It cannot be edited later, scans are not counted, and GoldenQR does not save it (not even a Wi-Fi password). If you change your Wi-Fi password, print a new code. Use a normal dynamic QR code when you want to edit the destination or see scans.

Contact card (save contact)

Scanning this code offers to save the contact on the phone. The details are written into the code and are not stored by GoldenQR. Keep it short: more details make a denser code that is harder to scan when printed small. For a card you can edit later, use a dynamic digital business card.
